At checkout, customer information is collected for shipping and billing purposes. This information includes: email, address, and phone number. Only the payment processor you choose at checkout can view the entirety of your payment information. The payment options Rosie Moon offers are card (processed by Stripe), PayPal, Apple Pay, and various payment service plans.
I do not have access to payment information provided to these financial institutions nor do I have control over how secure they are. That being said, Rosie Moon and the host site- Big Cartel- have only incorporated payment processors we, to the best of our knowledge, believe to be trustworthy and secure.
Personal information collected at checkout is used for the following:
- Creating Shipping Labels through USPS or UPS (Shipping services now typically require phone numbers for delivery purposes)
- Sending shipping notifications via email
None of your data is ever sold nor accessed except for the strictly necessary processes used to create and ship your order to you. I do NOT utilize Google Analytics or other third-party API’s for marketing purposes.
If you wish for your data to be permanently deleted, simply email a request and I will do so after the window for charge-backs is closed (dependent on the payment processor you chose at checkout). The only information I must maintain for tax purposes is your country, shipping zip code, and the amount paid (plus any customs forms filled out for international orders, however these are only needed until the following tax year).
I personally do not look at nor care about your cookie data. The only aspect of it I see is an anonymous quantification of site visitors and the ratio of those visits to orders placed. I do not see who visits unless an order is placed. Any other cookie data is the responsibility of the host website, Big Cartel, and I encourage you to look at their privacy policy if you want more information.
